DJ NAME:  Steve Bergeron AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1987 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   For as long as I can remember I have loved to be in front of people. Fortunately I found my nitch in 1987 when I DJed my first reception. Since then I have looked forward to each and every weekend. Nothing pleases me more than to know that when my Bride and Groom enter the hall that everything is now in my hands. The planning, music and details have all been worked out with my clients and now they can relax knowing I will guide them through their evening. I love being a mobile DJ and I feel very blessed that I can make my living doing it. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Steve has been a DJ since 1987 and is one of Omaha's most requested mobile DJ/MC's. Enthusiasm, announcing skills and reception preparation are his strongest skills. Steve performs table to table magic during the dinner and entertains kids with balloons at the customers request. Steve in addition to being one of Bandstand Music most active DJ's is also the owner of the company. DJ NAME:  Amy Cornic AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   since 2002 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   I've been a dj since 2002 and I love meeting new people. It's very rewarding when you know you've had a part in making a bride and grooms important day run as smoothly as possible. As a female dj, it's great to prove how hard I work and that I can handle the toughtest situations. The best thing about being a dj is when you play a song that people haven't heard in a while and they yell and scream because they love it!! Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Most people think of the traditional mobile DJ to be male. Well move over and make way for Amy. She is one of the best DJ's around offering a nice blend of enthusiasm and thoroughness. Amy also has the honor of having Bandstand Music's customer evaluation of the year. Amy works full time in the Bandstand Office helping customers.

DJ NAME:  Marty Scarpello AGE:  40's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1985 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   I can't believe it's been 20 years. I can honestly say that I feel as if I get better every year. Nothing can ever replace experience. I'm am fortunate to have a job I still love. Whether a party for kids or a formal reception you can count me in. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Marty goes to every event with over 20 years of experience under his belt. He is witty and very upbeat in nature and loves to be a DJ. Marty specializes in DJing receptions and any Karaoke parties that we do. Marty not only runs his own part time business (One Source) selling marketing, promotional products, and gifts but he also works full time for a major Window company. He is also the proud father of two girls.

DJ NAME:  Scott Yeager AGE:  40's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1993 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Being Here on Saturdays helps me appreciate what Brides and Grooms go through. Though, it pales in comparison to what they have to experience, I know that their special day is not trivial. If something goes wrong, I know if it's something we can fix, I'm more than willing to help. Whether it is equipment, music, or something as small as a corkscrew, I will be there to save the day. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Scott is the Saturday office Manager. His duties are to make sure all weekend events go off without a hitch. We could not make it through a Saturday without him. His job duties for Bandstand Music include making sure all DJ's get out on time, have all requested music, and in charge of all back-up equipment. Scott works full time in price management for a local supermarket chain.

DJ NAME:  Mark Kirlin AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1987 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Mark has been a DJ since 1987 and currently works as a quality consultant for Bandstand Music. When Mark joined the Bandstand staff in 1998, he came with the reputation as a DJ that can handle any type of party regardless of how laid back or highly detailed the event could be. In addition to being one of the most requested DJs at Bandstand Music, Mark is a work horse, going out almost every weekend (when he isn’t playing in a volleyball tournament) and has a solid reputation with most of the reception facilities and wedding venders in the Omaha area. DJ NAME:  Alex Sedletsky AGE:  40's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1978 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   My passion has always been international world music. Club, techno, hip hop are just a few of my specialties. If you are looking for a DJ who specializes in music from around the world I can definitely fill your needs. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Alex spent the early part of his life in the Ukraine as DJ business owner specializing in clubs and large venue dances. His unique talent for world music and his high tech light show makes for a great combination for giving you and your guests something no other Omaha DJ can provide. Alex also runs his own DJ service featuring music from around the world. His company name is Digital Sound International.

DJ NAME:  David Nihsen AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   Since 2001 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   If you can't laugh at yourself....someone else will do it for you! Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   David is what Bandstand Music is about. Reliable, witty, eager, and caring about our customers are just a few of his attributes. Davids personality and charm make him the perfect fit for any kind of formal event. David's past experiences include Stand Up at the Funnybone comedy club. In addition, David has become one of Bandstand Music's most requested DJ's. David recently received his Masters degree and currently works for a major insurance firm.

DJ NAME:  Curtis Pennewell AGE:  20's EXPERIENCE:   Since 2003 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   I make it my personal goal to make sure your reception goes as smoothly as possible. I love getting the dance floor packed and making sure everyone is having a great time. It's important to me that I have excellent communication with not only the bride and groom but with the photographer, videographer, caterer and any other vendor. I go above and beyond to make sure you have an awesome evening and great memories! Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   The most contagious thing about Curtis is his laugh and upbeat attitude. Curtis specializes in the "Fun, Party Crowd" dances but at the same time can accomodate the most formal of functions. Curtis is one of our most flexable DJ's and has a reputation for going above and beyond.

DJ NAME:  Roger Jeager AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   Since 2001 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Just like most other DJ’s I’m just another burnt-out wanna-be rockstar. Music has always been my passion. I started my college career as a music education major and lost the music part of the major along the way. I love being involved in music and even performed with barbershop groups before the birth of my first son. I love being a wedding DJ! How many other jobs are there where a person can party with great music for some extra income? My first and biggest concern at every party is making sure the bride and groom get everything they want. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Roger "The Rog" came to Bandstand Music after working for another DJ company for 4 years. We were lucky to get Rog and he has become known as Mr. Reliable. Roger is very universal and specializes in Weddings. Rog is married and has two sons. Roger teaches Science and Algebra at a local middle school.

DJ NAME:  Don Thomas AGE:  20's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1997 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Don came to Bandstand Music in 2003 with 6 years of DJ experience under his belt. He joined Bandstand Music with a great attitude and is one of our more universal DJ's. Don can provide music for a Wedding one day and then turn around a DJ a High School Dance the next. Don is married with one daughter and works full time in the flooring businsess.

DJ NAME:  Shawn Friesen AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   Since 2004 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   I put on a really fun show, well done with dignity and class. I'm not going to clown around on the microphone and compromise anyone's wedding night. My evening is about great song selection, excellent customer service and not about myself. I mostly play the best, all-time dance songs along with what's hot today. After a long wedding day, please allow me to do all the work at your reception...then all you have to do is show up and have fun!! Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   What can you say about Shawn. He's got a quirky personality and is funny to boot. Whether looking for somebody low-key or upbeat Shawn is as flexible as they come. Shawns major priority is to be as prepared as possible for every event he DJ's. As Shawn says "when I talk to a client about their event I leave no stone unturned".

DJ NAME:  Jim Schnoor AGE:  40's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1984 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Jim is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He was hired by Bandstand Music in 2005 with 21 years of experience already under his belt. We've been working him like a dog every weekend since he was hired. Jim has a reputation for going out of his way and doing anything for a client. As Jim himself says "aside from bungee jumping over an alligator pitt there is nothing I wouldn't do for a customer" Jim was one of the highest evaluated DJ in 2007 with over 22 perfect satifaction surveys in a row.

DJ NAME:  Jared Kuller AGE:  20's EXPERIENCE:   3 years PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Jared is one of a kind. He's polite, jovial, funny, and customer friendly. Whether a teen dance or a formal wedding reception, Jared is a solid pick all around.

DJ NAME:  Jim Morrison AGE:  40's EXPERIENCE:   Since 1984 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   My thought is that the bride and groom, host or hostess, (whomever the client may be) should be able to arrive at their party and have the time to enjoy the company of their guests. Whatever I need to do, (in addition to providing a mix of music suitable to the occasion), I will do to ensure my clients have that luxury. Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   We were lucky enough to obtain Jim as a Bandstand Music DJ back in 2006. He is a Master MC and has been responsible for training countless DJs to perform at peak levels at their events. Jim is one of the most in demand DJ's in the area and is one of the hardest working men in show biz. Jim's strongest skills are his ability to make everyone around him feel comfortable and his incredibly quick wit is second to none.

DJ NAME:  Steve Miller AGE:  30's EXPERIENCE:   DJ since 1996 PERSONAL STATEMENT:   Bandstand Music DESCRIPTION:   Steve started with Bandstand Music back in 1996 while stationed at Offutt AFB. He took a break from DJing in 1998, retired from the Air Force and persued a civilian career in the computer industry. During his hiatus from Bandstand Music Steve was married and started a family. Steve has rejoined our team and its great to have him back on staff.
